Our Welcomer Plugin is completely controlled from our BotPanel page! Head there then to "Server Settings" to find the welcomer section.

🥤 Set up Welcomer

To start the setup of Speedboat Welcomer head over to our BotPanel and navigate to the "Server Settings" section which has the Welcomer section inside.

Next set the Welcome Channel, this is the channel where welcomer messages will be sent. Make sure it is a public channel so all your server members can see when new faces show up! In this example I have set the Welcome Channel to #welcome in my server.

Next we will set a Welcome Role, this is the role that each and every new member is assigned when joining, usually you would set a Member role or something but we don't have that in the Speedboat server yet so we will set the "Other Bot Developer" role just for now. Make sure to save each setting as we go along.

Now we move over to the fun stuff, let's set a message for when a user joins, as shown in the Welcomer plugin page there are different arguments you can use for different thing, we are going to use the {@member} one so it pings the users profile, meaning you can click on it and find out more about the user in Discord.

Now we are ready to enable the Welcomer Toggle, this means that Welcomer Messages will start being sent, this will only work once you have completed all but the role section of the other steps.

🎉 Tada! We have finished, great job, now new users will feel welcomed with a nice inviting message, feel free to set your own welcome message with your own style, you can use emojis and whatever you need to make it feel yours.
